LIMS
A LIMS is the operational core of regulated pharma or biotech labs. It tracks samples from receipt to result, links results to and relevant instruments, and maintains audit-ready records.

Sample Registration and Chain of Custody
Barcode tracking from receipt to disposal
Each sample is logged with a unique barcode that tracks storage, sub-sampling, testing, and disposal, creating a full custody record with no manual reconciliation.
Storage location and temperature management
Sample storage locations are monitored in real time, with temperature alerts, expiry tracking, and inventory reporting to give managers full visibility without physical audits.
Retention and disposal management
Retention schedules and disposal workflows are managed in the LIMS with automated alerts for expiring samples and documented disposal records that meet regulatory audit requirements.

Automated Test Assignment and Scheduling
Specification-driven test assignment
When a sample is registered, required tests are auto-assigned by sample type, product code, or project, removing manual entry and ensuring no required test is missed.
Analyst workload balancing
Test assignments are distributed by workload, qualifications, and priority, giving managers visibility into queues and enabling proactive resource management during high-volume periods.
Priority and turnaround tracking
Sample priorities and turnaround times are tracked against actual progress, with alerts triggered if schedules risk missing their required completion dates.

Instrument Integration and Result Transfer
Bi-directional instrument connectivity
Our LIMS platforms integrate bidirectionally with instruments, HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, dissolution, and particle size, transferring results directly to records without manual entry.
Result transfer audit trail
All instrument data transfers log instrument ID, sequence file, timestamp, and analyst, creating a complete trail compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 and ALCOA+ standards.
Instrument qualification status management
The LIMS tracks each instrument’s qualification status, alerts for expiring qualifications, and locks out instruments that are out of qualification.
